General Course Information

Expected outcomes upon course completion:

  • distinguishes between acceptable and unacceptable risks in hazardous situations of natural, man-made, social, and domestic origin;
  • selects appropriate (effective) decision-making strategies that benefit personal safety and the safety of others, health, and well-being;
  • uses response protocols in hazardous situations;
  • acts according to standard models when a hazard of a specific nature arises;
  • identifies behavioral patterns in safe and unsafe life situations;
  • determines the severity of injuries and wounds, provides first aid to themselves and others in cases of injury or trauma within their capabilities;
  • identifies ways to provide first aid and contacts the necessary services according to the situation;
  • demonstrates a model of safe behavior in accordance with social and personal values in social and natural environments through systematic repetition;
  • establishes emotional contact within a group;
  • adjusts personal goals taking into account the goals and interests of the group;
  • develops a personal action plan, defines motivation, records results, accurately assesses their own strengths, and forms healthy habits.
